Last week, we had the pleasure of removing the Crypto Locker virus from a client’s computer. This isn’t a lot of fun for anyone involved. For removal instructions, we found Freetechsupport.com had the most helpful information, although there isn’t a feasible way to recover the encrypted files.
Obviously the best solution to this and other concerns in 2014 is prevention, but how to prevent the inevitable becomes the question.
